Introduction to Long Shaft Pumps

Long-axis pumps are suitable for transporting strip-shaped particles, high viscosity, strong acids, alkalis, salts, strong oxidants, and other corrosive media. The newly developed underwater pumps are suitable for enterprises to transport various lightweight media that are flammable and explosive. The casing, outlet pipe, and flow components of traditional underwater pumps are all made of corrosion-resistant materials. The motor part is located at the liquid surface, while the pump part is located below the liquid surface. The pump body, motor, and flow components of the new underwater pump are all made of special materials. The motor part is coaxially connected to the pump part and is located below the liquid surface.

Long shaft submersible pump: The long shaft pump is a centrifugal pump. From the perspective of centrifugal pumps, it improves the performance of submersible pumps. This pump can be used by enterprises to transport rainwater, scale water, sewage, corrosive chemical industrial wastewater, seawater, and other liquids. It is widely used in water supply companies, sewage treatment plants, steel mills, mines, and other industrial enterprises, as well as in municipal water supply and drainage, farmland irrigation, flood control, and urban waterlogging projects.

The long shaft pump is mainly used for transporting clean water and wastewater containing a certain degree of solid particles (such as iron filings, sand grains, coal powder, etc.), corrosive substances, as well as industrial wastewater from production activities in China and seawater. Extensive research has been conducted on raw water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, metallurgy and iron industry sectors (especially in industries that transport iron oxide skin using cyclone tanks), power plants, mines, municipal engineering projects, and ecological water conservancy construction projects in farmland.

The long shaft pump body includes effective shielding for the motor and centrifugal pump; the motor and centrifugal pump are coaxially connected. The external suction cover forms a self-contained system to achieve separation: the design has explosion-proof technology standards of ExdIIBT4 and belongs to GA-level equipment [3], suitable for zero zone use. The main advantages of this design method are: the pump bearing only needs to extend a few hundred millimeters; the shaft is not long enough to cause swinging issues; it operates smoothly with minimal noise and almost no wear. Components that come into contact with the medium are usually made from special materials and are widely researched for applications in chemical plants, pharmaceutical factories, production lines, generator sets, and other workplaces handling flammable and explosive media.

The long shaft pump belongs to a type of centrifugal pump. From the perspective of centrifugal pumps, it improves the performance of liquid pumps significantly beyond that of standard liquid pumps, resulting in more stable operation. Based on market demand, the company has developed the VT series long shaft deep well pumps which are widely used in water supply companies, sewage treatment plants, power plants, steel mills, mines, and other industrial enterprises. They are also used in municipal water supply and drainage projects as well as flood control and urban waterlogging projects. The long shaft deep well pumps have undergone improvements in hydraulic design and have models specifically developed for various industries such as firefighting equipment; their products have a wide range of applications. Efficiency, reliability, and sturdiness are the main advantages of this series.
