The vertical long shaft pump is a type of centrifugal pump. From the perspective of centrifugal pumps, the performance of liquid pumps has been improved, making its performance far superior to that of liquid pumps, and its operation is more stable. To meet the needs of domestic market development, advanced and mature vertical long shaft pumps can transport water, rainwater, molten iron, sewage, corrosive industrial wastewater, seawater, and other liquids at temperatures below 55 degrees Celsius. With special design, it can transport liquids below 90°C. It is widely researched and applied in municipal water supply systems, sewage treatment plants, power plants, steel mills, mines, and other industrial production enterprises, as well as in flood control and urban drainage projects in China.
Performance of the vertical long shaft pump: testing performance of clean water at normal temperature and one atmosphere pressure, without a water lifting pipe and filter screen; when calculating the lift of the pump unit, the loss from the water lifting pipeline and filter screen is estimated to be a loss of 1m for every 5m. The motor system is configured according to γ≤1100kg/M3. The YLS series 6kV motor can be equipped with a 10kV motor according to the development needs of Chinese enterprises. When ordering, please specify the pump type, performance parameters, liquid type, main component materials, liquid depth, and whether it comes with a protective pipe. Caution should be taken when transporting liquids at temperatures above 55°C.
The suction inlet of the vertical long shaft pump is directed vertically downward, while the outlet is horizontal. There is no vacuum system startup; it has a single base installation where the pump and motor are directly connected. The base occupies a small area. Looking down from the engine end, the rotor of the pump rotates counterclockwise. Main features include: optimization of teaching design using hydraulic system design analysis software; excellent performance; full consideration of the wear resistance of impellers and guide vanes; significantly increased service life of components such as impellers and guide vanes; ensuring stable market operation of products that are safe, reliable, efficient, and energy-saving. The pump's inlet is equipped with a filter screen with appropriately sized openings to effectively prevent large particle impurities from entering the pump and damaging it while minimizing economic losses for Chinese import enterprises and improving operational efficiency. The impeller uses balance holes to balance axial forces. Replaceable sealing rings are installed on both ends of the impeller to protect it and the guide vanes. The main components of the pump rotor system include impeller, impeller shaft, intermediate shaft, upper shaft, coupling, adjusting movable nut, etc. The intermediate shaft, lifting pipe, and protective pipe of the vertical long shaft pump are multi-sectioned; shafts are connected by spiral couplings or sleeve couplings; the number of lifting pipes can be increased or decreased according to user needs and can adapt to different liquid depths. Impellers and guide vanes can be single-stage or multi-stage to meet different hydraulic head requirements.
The single-axis length of the vertical long shaft pump is reasonable with sufficient rigidity. The design of the water lifting pipe can be achieved by using flange connections based on this method; there are guide bearing bodies between adjacent two sections of the water lifting pipe system. Guide bearings are installed on both the guide bearing body and guide vane body; they use materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene or nylon or nitrile rubber composites. Protective pipes are used to protect shafts and guide bearings in social environments; when transporting large amounts of clean water, protective pipes can be removed so that guide bearings do not need external cooling lubrication water; when transporting domestic sewage or wastewater, protective pipes must be installed according to requirements for external cooling lubrication water.
