The Kamoa‑Kakula copper mining complex is located in the Lualaba Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, within the heart of the globally renowned Central African Katanga copper‑cobalt metallogenic belt. The mine lies 25 km west of the town of Kolwezi and approximately 270 km from the provincial capital, Lubumbashi, with a total mining license area of 397.4 km².
The Kamoa‑Kakula smelter leverages clean, renewable hydropower and cutting-edge sulfur capture technology to produce 99% copper blister copper ingots on site. Compared with shipping copper concentrate, this approach significantly reduces transportation costs and lowers carbon emissions. Moreover, both the Kamoa‑Kakula and Kipushi projects are powered by hydropower, positioning them among the mining operations with the lowest per‑unit metal greenhouse gas emissions worldwide.

Rainwater conveyance floating pump station project configuration:
It consists of a pontoon, a platform frame, a long‑shaft pump unit, valves and discharge piping, a lifting and maintenance device, an illumination system, a local control cabinet, a PLC‑based remote intelligent control system, an anchoring system, and a trestle drainage pipeline system, among other components.

The conveyance pipeline is equipped with rubber flexible joints, stainless-steel multi‑function pump control valves, manual gate valves, and other components. This high‑standard, turnkey stormwater conveyance system efficiently handles rainwater drainage in mining areas.
A floating platform is equipped with a rain‑proof canopy and a 2‑ton manual hoist for equipment inspection and maintenance.
