When water demand is high, multiple production processes are running simultaneously, requiring a large amount of cooling water for numerous machines and equipment, tailing pond return water, wet beneficiation, mine site domestic water, and other industrial water. At this time, the entire water supply system faces significant pressure. To meet this urgent and substantial water demand, the pump group will react quickly, increasing the frequency of its internal drive to accelerate the impeller's rotation, thus increasing the water flow. Additional pump groups can also be activated to double the water supply, ensuring sufficient water is delivered promptly and adequately to all points of use, maintaining normal production and life.
Floating Platform-Low Demand Mode
When water demand is low, such as during factory shutdowns when water-using equipment is largely inactive, the overall water consumption of the supply system is significantly reduced. In this situation, if the pumps continue to operate at high flow rates, it would not only waste water resources but also energy. Therefore, the pumps automatically adjust their operating status, reducing frequency or the number of operating pump units. With reduced flow, the resistance the pump overcomes in moving the water also decreases. According to the pump's performance characteristics, its head will also decrease, resulting in more energy-efficient and safer operation to adapt to low water demand conditions.
